Local teams play from the Sun Inn in the winter months.

DARTS

The Sun team plays in the Rhayader league. Games are played on a Friday night. We have a lot of fun on these nights and are improving year on year!

QUIZ

Also in the Rhayader league. Played every other Monday. We did quite well last season, we came 5th out of 10 pubs playing. (we are going to improve on this next season). Although we have a team, we are always on the lookout for people who like quizzing and would like to be part of a team. Who knows? we may even be able to field 2 teams next time! Of interest, the Quiz league raised over £1,000 for charity last season due to the support of the team members. Anyway, let us know if you are interested in joining.

FOOTBALL

St Harmon has a local football team. The Sun hosts the after game refreshments as well as committee meetings and fund raising events.

'Sing a long' with Donald

The 'duck race' is an annual event to raise funds for the football club. This year (2011) there was also a dog show and a dog race. Great fun was had by all, and later in the evening people sang along with Donald on the Accordion.
